RoleWeft helps job applicants tailor their resumes for specific job descriptions. You upload or create a base resume, paste target job postings, and receive tailored bullet points along with clear skill-match reports.

We only collect the information needed to run the service:

• Account details: Your name, email address, and login profile when you sign up using Google, GitHub, or LinkedIn.
• Resume content: The text of your base resume, uploaded PDFs, job descriptions, role names, and custom tailoring instructions you provide.
• Generated drafts: Tailored resume versions, skill-match breakdowns, scores, and tailoring suggestions.
• Profile and preferences: Optional links to your GitHub or LinkedIn profiles, your preferred default resume, and editor preferences.
• Usage and plan information: Your active plan tier, remaining credits, and technical logs (such as model used, response times, and error messages).
• Payment records: Plan type, amount paid, transaction timestamps, and payment provider identifiers from Razorpay. We do not store your payment card or bank details.
• Device and session data: Secure login cookies, interface theme settings, and basic session details needed to keep you safely logged in.

We do not run marketing email lists or sell your personal information. Your resume files are stored securely in our private database.

• To tailor your resume bullets, evaluate job requirements, and generate ready-to-download PDFs.
• To track your remaining credits and plan allowances.
• To operate, debug, and improve the reliability and security of the service.
• To process account deletion and protect against abuse.

We never sell your personal information or your career history.

We work with trusted third-party providers to power specific parts of RoleWeft:

• Clerk: User authentication, secure sessions, and account management.
• Razorpay: Secure payment processing for credit packs via card or UPI.
• AI model providers: Securely process your resume and job description text to generate tailoring suggestions.
• Database host: Securely stores application data in PostgreSQL.
• Sentry: Frontend error reporting to help us fix bugs quickly.
• LangSmith: Optional tracing used by the operator for system performance and monitoring.
• PDF compile services (such as latex.ytotech.com and latexonline.cc): Compile resume documents into downloadable PDFs when a local compiler is unavailable.

We share data with these providers only as needed to deliver the service.

When you tailor a resume, run a fit analysis, convert a PDF, or apply custom prompts, your resume text and target job description are processed by our configured language models. The results are saved to your session so you can review changes, compare versions, and download your final PDF.

AI output is an assistive tool to help you put your best foot forward. We always encourage you to give your tailored resume a quick read before submitting your job application.

Credit packs are purchased securely through Razorpay Checkout. Razorpay processes your payment card or UPI information directly. RoleWeft stores only a minimal payment record: plan name, amount, provider identifiers, and timestamps.

You are in full control of your data. You can delete your account at any time from Dashboard Settings by typing DELETE to confirm. When you delete your account:

• All of your resumes, tailoring sessions, skill analyses, generated files, profile, and plan records are permanently erased immediately.
• Payment ledger and technical usage rows are anonymized by removing your user ID, session names, and private text. Only non-identifying aggregate numbers (such as token counts and payment amounts) remain for accounting and legal purposes.
• Your login user is deleted and you are signed out.

Anonymized records cannot be used to restore your account or view your resume text. Any logs held by third-party processors follow their respective data retention policies.

All traffic between your browser, our application, our API, and our trusted providers is encrypted using HTTPS and TLS. Authenticated requests require your verified login session, and your data is protected against unauthorized access.

While no online transmission or storage system is 100% secure, we use strong industry safeguards to protect your personal information.

You can:

• View, edit, or copy your resumes, tailoring history, and profile inside the app.
• Delete individual base resumes from your resume library whenever you want.
• Permanently delete your full account and all associated documents from Settings.
• Contact us at [email protected] if you have questions about accessing, correcting, or deleting your data.

RoleWeft is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age required for online consent in India.

Our trusted service providers (including authentication, AI processing, and hosting) may process data on servers located outside India. We choose providers that follow strict privacy and security standards.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our service or applicable laws evolve. Continued use of RoleWeft after an update means you accept the revised policy.
